Went to ask of Alice
And hear the things she said.
Whispering of cabbages
And soddered cups to fill my head.
In, amongst, amidst the kin,
she offered to spill of grins,
fellow monks that saturate
the silence to begin.
“Advancement,” she said,
“can be discussed over tea.”
Alas, I could not hear her
for I was too busy singing
“… and if you go chasing rabbits,
and you know you’re going to fall…”
To my fellow humans, gender regardless:
We invite our selves to the conversation of cliental change, remembering the corporate vote.
From hand to hand, our bodies have been signed forth once more.
Roe… Jimmy Roe… Will we get there? I don’t know.
Claim your seat at the table females, friends, foes; all this, is my invite to you.
Deal yourself in, and always remember that disrespect is nothing but a card to play in the grander pack of our own situational schemes. I invite you to rise above the morning’s crust. Our Earth, our choice, Great Mother, I offer myself to Thee. Show me how I can be of service in the face of adversity and how to join hands in peaceful celebration, even and oddly with hands that claim I must sign away my own right to decision.
“Sure, the media tries to put a sad face on these things, painting them up as great human tragedies; but we all know the function of the media has never been to eliminate the evils of the world, no! Their job is to persuade us to accept those evils and get used to living with them. The powers that be want us to be passive observers. Hey, you got a match? And they haven’t given us any other options outside the occasional, purely symbolic, participatory act of voting. “You want the puppet on the right, or the puppet on the left?” I feel the time has come to project my own inadequacies and dissatisfaction into the sociopolitical and scientific schemes. Let my own lack of a voice be heard.
